Jordan Whitley, a Tāmaki-based sound editor and mixer specialises in Film & TV re-record mixing, dialogue editing, sound effects, foley, and sound design.
 
As a proud member of the Screen Music & Sound Guild of New Zealand (SMSG), Jordan has recently provided his expertise in complete sound design/mixes for a few upcoming short films, in both stereo and surround fields. Including recorded bespoke effects.

For three years, Jordan has held the position of one of the lead mix engineer/sound editors at Warner Bros International Television Productions. His extensive credits encompass hundreds of long-form episodes for acclaimed unscripted shows such as Escaping Utopia, Nadia’s Farm, David Lomas Investigates, Celebrity Treasure Island, The Block NZ, The Great Kiwi Bake Off, among others. 

Beyond the studio, Jordan has acquired valuable on-set experience as a field recordist for New Zealand’s major reality television productions such as Rupauls Drag Race Down Under, Celebrity Treasure Island, and others. His journey from set to screen has equipped him with a deep and mutual understanding of the dynamics of time, pressure, and collaboration inherent in productions of varying scales. Consistently adapting to the ever-changing needs of projects, ensuring they reach the highest calibre.
